Grammy nominee Raiatea Helm to give Maui concert

Maui residents and visitors can enjoy a free concert by Grammy nominee Raiatea Helm when she joins the Honolulu Symphony Orchestra at 7 p.m. Thursday at Castle Theatre at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center.

Aaron Mahi will conduct the orchestra.

Helm, a singer and an ukulele player, will perform Hawaiian favorites including selections from her "Hawaiian Blossom" CD, a nominee in the upcoming Feb. 10 Grammy Awards.

Musican Wade Butin, on horns, also will be featured on Mozart's Horn Concerto No. 4 in E-flat Major, K495.
