Isle brief: SpinFest set for Jan. 25

SpinFest, a fundraiser for the Epilepsy Foundation of Hawaii, will be Jan. 25 at the Honolulu Club.The event is a 12-hour stationary cycling marathon, starting at 6 a.m. at the club at 932 Ward Ave.
Club members and the public are invited to participate by making a suggested donation of $20 per hour.

SpinFest is a kick-off for Sharon's Ride, an annual national outdoor bike/run/walk fundraiser for the Epilepsy Foundation.
Sharon's Ride will be Jan. 27 at Kapi'olani Community College, featuring a 10-, 35-, 75- or 100-kilometer ride along Honolulu's southeastern coastline or a 5- or 10-kilometer run into Diamond Head. To register for Sharon's Ride call 528-3058.
