Winds weakening under mostly sunny skies

A low-pressure system northeast of the Islands is preventing a high-pressure system from placing a stronghold on the weather. The National Weather Service said to expect north to northeast winds to continue to weaken, and showers will be limited and most likely at night.More showers could come over the weekend.
