Panda Travel offers free L.A. trip to food-bank donors

Panda Travel is offering travel discounts and a chance to win a free trip to Los Angeles for people who donate canned goods to the Hawaii Food Bank and on Saturday.Panda Travel's Disney Day and Hawaii Food Bank drive will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Panda Travel parking lot located at 1017 Kapahulu Ave.
The three-hour event offers information on Disneyland, Disney World, Disney Cruises, and Disney's newest offering, Adventures By Disney. Panda Travel agents and a representative from Disney Destinations will talk about new attractions, special package deals and insider tips on making the most of a Disney vacation.
Everyone who attends the event can donate to Hawaii Food Bank and be entered to win great prizes given away throughout the day, including special Disney souvenirs such as key chains and collectible Disney pins. Kids can take a picture with Panda Travel's mascot, the panda Kokua, in a convertible donated for the day by Dollar Rent-a-Car.
At 1 p.m., the grand prize of two roundtrip airfares to Los Angeles will be chosen.
