Preps: Baldwin boys, girls sweep Maui in MIL soccer

WAILUKU — Mikey Marrs scored the first and last goals for Baldwin High School in a 3-0 victory over Maui last night in a Maui Interscholastic League boys soccer game at War Memorial Stadium.

Marrs scored in the 27th and 51st minutes.

John Takitani scored for the Bears (7-1-2) in the 41st minute.

Maui fell to 1-8-1.

BALDWIN GIRLS 3, MAUI 1

At War Memorial Stadium, Ayesha Pladera scored in the first and 15th minutes for Baldwin.

Jessica Long scored for the Bears (9-2-1) in the 28th minute.

Maui (3-7-2) got an own goal in the 79th.
