Hawaii index rise for first time in four sessions

The Bloomberg-Honolulu Advertiser Hawai'i Index rose for the first time in four trading sessions, led by Maui Land & Pineapple.

The 11-member stock index climbed 0.27 points points to 84.08, as six issues rose and five fell.

Leading the gainers was Maui Land & Pineapple, which was up 75 cents to $28.78. Central Pacific Financial rose 68 cents to $15.09, or 4.7 percent.
