$10,000 available to community non-profits

Hawai'i community nonprofits that serve housing-related needs may be eligible for one of seven $10,000 grants being given out by HomeStreet Bank.The Seattle-based bank that has branches in Hawaii announced its fifth annual HomeStreet Community Housing awards. The bank donates at least two percent of its pretax profits to the community. More information about the awards is available via e-mail at communityawards@homestreet.com.
Homestreet is also making the grants in other communities it serves in Washington and Oregon.
