Raiatea Helm, symphony play free on Maui tonight

Raiatea Helm will join the Honolulu Symphony Orchestra in a free community concert at 7 p.m. today at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center's Castle Theater.

The program includes Mozart, Mendelssohn, Copland and Hawaiian songs. No tickets are required.

The symphony also has been visiting Maui schools in an education and community outreach program supported by federal Temporary Assistance to Needy Families money administered through the state Department of Human Services.
