Cause of death released in boy's death

Cyrus Belt died of "multiple blunt force injuries due to a fall from a height," according to the office of the City Medical Examiner.There are no signs that Belt was beaten or suffocated prior to being thrown from a pedestrian overpass, and injuries sustained in the fall most likely killed the boy, according to results of an autopsy performed today.
The boy's body suffered "significant trauma" as the result of being run over, according to the autopsy.
