Bluesman Fernando Jones to perform at Chinatown bar

Fernando Jones, a Chicago bluesman, will present a no-cover performance in a one-night gig from 10 p.m. Jan. 26 at Bar 35, at 35 N. Hotel St. in Chinatown.Jones, a guitarist, will front a trio also featuring a bassist and percussionist. An ambassador of the blues, Jones will be in the Islands for a series of University of Hawai'i-sponsored lectures.
He is author of "I Was There When the Blues was Red Hot."
