Upon winning the Sony Open in Hawai'i, not only did K.J. Choi accept a title and a trophy, he also scored a Harry Winston watch. James Schaefer and Ken Kashiki, of the Ala Moana Center Harry Winston salon, presented the PGA pro with an 18-carat white gold Excenter Timezone timepiece valued at $26,900. It features two time zones, so Kim can keep up with the time in his native South Korea while attending to the matters at hand wherever in the world he may be.

ALL ABOUT COLOR!

Spring 2008 promises an abundance of color from head to toe. While designers' spring runways were a burst of bright blues, sunny yellows and over-the-top pinks, shoe designers such as Stuart Weitzman were on the color bandwagon as well. Expect to see more patent leather as well as some interesting textures.

THIERRY RABOTIN TRUNK SHOW

Comfort shoes that are also cute are a rare commodity. Add to that equation shoes that travel well, and it's a real challenge to find them. Some fashion-savvy Island women have found the solution in Thierry Rabotin shoes. They're an investment, but devotees save up for them.

A trunk show from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow at Sandal Tree Ala Moana will introduce Rabotin's latest styles, including a mary jane and some thongs that can walk 10 miles on cobbled streets. A Thierry Rabotin shoe book is a gift with purchase.

DIORSHOW MAKEUP ARTIST TO VISIT

Thuy Pham, a Diorshow celebrity makeup artist, will be in Honolulu to offer makeovers and makeup tips to Island women from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at Macy's Kahala Mall, in the "beauty pods" between Macy's and PacSun.

Thuy has worked backstage at runway shows for designers such as Chan-el, Roberto Cavalli, Versace and Vera Wang, which led her to assist renowned makeup artist Laura Mercier. Since joining Dior, Thuy has been trained by Pati Dubroff, one of Hollywood's most sought-after makeup artists.

To make an appointment, phone Kaleena or Janalyn with Dior at 737-5429, ext. 2368.
