Jaleesa Ross scored 20 points and grabbed eight rebounds last night to lead Fresno State to a 74-54 victory over Hawai'i in a Western Athletic Conference women's basketball game at Fresno, Calif.

The Bulldogs are 9-8 overall and 4-0 in the WAC. The Rainbow Wahine are 6-10 and 0-3.

Saundra Cariaga scored 17 points for Hawai'i. Tanya Smith added 10 points and 11 rebounds.

After taking a 35-30 halftime lead, the Bulldogs opened the second half with an 11-0 run for a 46-30 lead with 14:24 to go.

The Rainbow Wahine continue their road trip with a game at San Jose State tomorrow.
