Maui motorcycle crash kills Wailuku man, 22

A 22-year-old Wailuku, Maui, man was killed early today when he lost control of his 2007 Suzuki GSXR motorcycle and was thrown from the bike after it slammed into a guard rail, Maui police reported.According to police the cyclist was headed toward Kahului on Ma'alaea Road at around 12:30 a.m. when he lost control of the bike, left the roadway and hit the guard rail two-tenths of a mile north of Kapoli Street in Wailuku.
The man sustained fatal injuries after he was thrown from the cycle and died at the scene, police said.
