Man, 35, critically hurt in H-1 crash near Waipahu

A 35-year-old man was critically injured today in a van crash on the H-1 Freeway's westbound Waipahu off-ramp.Police said the man was the sole occupant of a 2001 Chevrolet van that collided into a barrier at 6:50 a.m.
The man was taken to The Queen's Medical Center, according to city Emergency Services spokesman Bryan Cheplic.
Speed and alcohol did not appear to be factors, police said.
