MITTENS

TAG NO. 07-27888

Mittens is exceptionally small for her age, with a nice mask and quiet demeanor. She would do well in an older adult household and, in fact, qualifies for our Seniors for Seniors Program — meaning she is free to anyone 60 or older.

LELA

TAG NO. 07-27300

Surrendered by her owners on Nov. 24, Lela was not at all happy about having to spend Christmas at the shelter. Still, this black and brown Airedale mix is the quintessential "happy face," making the most of a less than ideal situation. She is very interested in people, and likes to please.

These animals may have found homes. The Hawaiian Humane Society and McInerny Dog Park at 2700 Wai'alae Ave. are open daily. For hours, directions, special events and to see more pets available for adoption, go to www.hawaiianhumane.org or call 946-2187. Call to report lost or found animals.
