Honolulu firm goes carbon dioxide negative

Green Sand Inc., an Honolulu-based architecture firm that specializes in sustainable design, said it had offset its carbon emissions with a donation through the Carbonfund.org's CarbonFree Small Business program.The company said it had taken steps to reduce its carbon emissions and also made the donation, making it a carbon-negative company. Carbonfund.org is a carbon reduction and offset organization dedicated to helping people and businesses reduce their carbon dioxide emissions.
