3 arrested in Punaluu drug raid

Police today arrested two men and a woman in a drug raid on a Punalu'u residences at 53-343 and 54-343 Kamehameha Highway.

The 6:30 a.m. raid was conducted by the Windward O'ahu Crime Reduction Unit with assistance from Specialized Services Division officers.

The raid capped an investigation into community complaints of drug dealing at the location.

Police seized 13.3 grams of crystal methamphetamine and $561 in cash in a warranted search of the residences.

A 34-year-old man who resides at 53-343 Kamehameha Highway was arrested for second-degree promotion of a dangerous drug and possession of drug paraphernalia while a man, 34, and woman, 20, who live at 54-343 Kamehameha Highway were booked for third-degree promotion of a dangerous drug and possession of paraphernalia.

Charges are pending.
