Man charged with assaulting Makiki couple

Prosecutors today charged a 46-year-old man with misdemeanor abuse of a household member and third-degree assault stemming from a confrontation last night at a Wilder Avenue apartment.David K. Wong of an Ala Moana address allegedly went to the Makiki apartment of his estranged wife, 42, and confronted the woman and her boyfriend, 46.
Wong allegedly assaulted the woman and applied a submission hold on the man.
