Gov. Linda Lingle will give her State of the State address at 10 a.m. this morning at the state Capitol. The governor's remarks will be available live on radio, television and via the Internet.

Before the speech, Lingle's Cabinet will outline the governor's agenda for the session during a webcast between 8:30 a.m. and 10 a.m. at www.hawaii.gov/gov.

A year ago, Lingle said she wanted to shift Hawai'i's economy away from land development and toward science and technology, beginning with stronger science education in public schools.

The governor's speech will be translated into six languages and the transcripts will be posted on her Web site by Friday. The languages are Chinese, Japanese, Ilokano, Tagalog, Hawaiian and Korean.

Hawai'i's four network affiliate TV stations will carry the speech live, as well as 'Olelo Focus Channel 49 on Oceanic Cablevision.

Radio stations carrying the speech are KSSK 590 AM (O'ahu), KHVH 830 AM (O'ahu), KUMU 1500 AM (O'ahu), Hawai'i Public Radio KHPR 88.1 FM (O'ahu), Hawai'i Public Radio KKUA 90.7 FM (Maui), Hawai'i Public Radio KANO 91.1 FM (Hilo), KPUA 670 AM (Hilo), KAOI 1110 AM (Maui, Kona) and KONG 570 AM (Kaua'i).
