5.4-magnitude earthquake jostles area near Tonga

A moderate earthquake struck near Tonga about 2:20 this morning, Hawai'i time, according to the U.S. Geological Survey Earthquake Center.There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries resulting from the 5.4-magnitude temblor.
The quake was centered about 55 miles north-northwest of Nuku-Alofa, Tonga.
A tsunami advisory was not issued.
