Office Depot to open 4th Hawai'i store in Waipahu

Advertiser Staff

Office Depot's fourth Hawai'i store is tentatively scheduled to open Feb. 1 at Waipahu Town Center.

The office supply retailer is opening the 20,400-square-foot store in a space formerly occupied by a Marukai 99¢ Superstore that had opened in 2002.

Waipahu Town Center, anchored by Longs Drugs, will gain a second major anchor retail tenant with Office Depot. Other tenants include USA Baby, New Hope Leeward and Sizzler. A Safeway closed at the center in 2000.

Office Depot's other stores in Hawai'i are at Ward Centers in Kaka'ako, at Waimalu Plaza in 'Aiea and at Dillingham Shopping Plaza in Kalihi Kai.
