10-foot surf possible today along north-facing shores

Advertiser Staff

Surf of 6 feet to 10 feet is expected today along O'ahu's north-facing shores, according to the National Weather Service.

Elsewhere, look for surf of 4 feet to 6 feet along west-facing shores; 4 feet to 6 feet along east-facing shores; and 1 foot to 3 feet along south-facing shores.

A new northwest swell that arrived overnight will begin to subside gradually today and continue on the way down through Friday. No significant other new swells are expected.
