Dad's Donut Shop opens tomorrow in Wailuku

Former Maui County planning director Chris Hart is opening a coffee and doughnut shop tomorrow in Wailuku, Maui.Dad's Donut Shop is at the corner of Vineyard Street and Central Avenue, and will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 7 a.m. to noon on Sundays. Hart said he will be using his father's recipe to make the doughnuts.
Leonard Hart ran a doughnut shop in New York near Syracuse from 1953 to 1965, Chris Hart said.
