Curtain rises on 'Mass Appeal' drama this weekend

Brother Gary Morris, chief of the Drama Department at Chaminade University, stars as Father Tim Farley in "Mass Appeal," a production of The Actors' Group, which is set to open 7:30 Saturday at Yellow Brick Studio, 625 Keawe St.The play is a tale of the clash between the survivalist, older priest and a hard-charging young seminarian, played by Blaze Mancillas. Brad Powell is the director.
