Bob Marley concert footage, talk at Doris Duke Feb. 6

Rare concert footage featuring reggae kingpin Bob Marley will be shown at 7:30 p.m. Feb. 6 at the Honolulu Academy of Arts' Doris Duke Theatre, as part of a "Bob Marley Birthday Celebration." Marley's birthdate is Feb. 6, 1945.Roger Steffens, an author and official biographer of the Jamaican icon, who helped put a face and voice on the shantytown residents of the world, will provide rare concert videos of Marley and share personal, first-hand tales of life on the road with the Marley band at the event.
Tickets: $12 adults, $10 academy members, on sale in advance at the academy entrance daily or at the door.
