Hawaii's Wilson, McLachlin shoot 69s in Buick golf

Hawai'i's Dean Wilson and Parker McLachlin each shot 3-under-par 69 today and were four strokes behind leader Troy Matteson after the first round of the Buick Invitational at San Diego.Wilson, a Castle High alum and Kaneohe native, shot 36-33 with five birdies and two bogeys at the Torrey Pines North Course. McLachlin, a Punahou School alum from Honolulu, shot 34-35 with five birdies and two bogeys on the South Course. The field of 155 will switch courses tomorrow.
