HECO work to require lane closures in Nanakuli

Advertiser Staff

Work on utility lines and poles in Nanakuli by Hawaiian Electric Co. will require the closure of one Wai'anae-bound lane of Farrington Highway between Haleakala Avenue and Kahau Street from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. today and Friday, the company said.

The same stretch of the highway will also be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Jan. 28-31.

Work crews had been starting at 7 a.m., HECO officials said. They said the lane closure is necessary to ensure the safety of their work crews and the public as well.
