Big Island police seek information on school arson case

Hawai'i County police have initiated an arson case in connection with a fire at Kealakehe Intermediate School.

Police received a report on Jan. 20, that the fire damaged a room in a new building under construction. An investigation revealed that the fire was deliberately set.

Police ask anyone with information about the fire to call Detective David Araki at 808-326-4646, ext. 238, or the Police Department's nonemergency number at 808-935-3311.
