Local boxers to fight at U.S. National Championships

 •  Sand soccer offers fun alternative to tradition

Isaac Arasato was named the most outstanding boxer at the Hawai'i State and Regional Boxing Championships and will be one of 16 fighters competing in the U.S. National Championships.

Arasato, of Palolo Boxing Club, will represent Hawai'i at 132 pounds, after capturing the state crown on Jan. 19.

The national event will be at the U.S. Olympic training center in Colorado Springs, Colo., from March 8 to 16.
