Robber caught after returning to store, police say

Advertiser Staff

A 24-year-old man who allegedly returned to the scene of his crime was being held on $50,000 bail today.

Police said the man was arrested after he walked into a Honolulu convenience story this week and was recognized as the person who had robbed the store a week earlier.

When two store employees chased him down the street, he pulled a knife and assaulted one of the men.

He was later subdued and arrested. Police charged him with robbery and assault.
