Man, 29, critical after motorcycle crash on Mariners Ridge

A 29-year-old man was in critical condition after his motorcycle crashed this morning on Mariners Ridge.He was riding a gray Suzuki motorcycle downhill on Kaluanui Road when he failed to negotiate a bend and lost control of the bike about 8:30 a.m., police said.
The man, who was wearing a helmet, was thrown from the motorcycle and hit the road, a curb, a tree and a stone wall.
Speeding may have been a factor, police said.
