Woman demanded dollar then broke man's nose, police say

An 18-year-old woman accused of repeatedly kicking a man in the head in Waikiki was being held by police today.Police said the woman approached the 57-year-old man sitting on a sidewalk Friday night and demanded a dollar from him.
When the man said he didn't have any money, she kicked him in the head, police said.
The exchange was repeated numerous times: each time the woman asked and got no money, she kicked the man in the head, giving him a broken nose and numerous bruises.
She was arrested a short time later and held on possible assault charges, police said.
