Waipahu stabbing victim stable; police seek suspects

A 28-year-old Waipahu man stabbed early yesterday is in stable condition at an undisclosed hospital, according to police.The man was involved in a street fight at 10:45 p.m. Friday and witnesses told police six men went to the victim's home at 12:05 a.m. yesterday where another fight broke out. During the fight, the victim was stabbed twice in the back.
Police have made no arrests and are investigating the incident as a first-degree assault.
