Two University of Hawai'i students from Japan were followed by a man at 8:30 p.m. Saturday night from the Ala Moana Shopping Center to their dorm. The man then refused to leave, campus security said.

The man finally left after another roommate arrived at the Hale Noelani apartment unit. The man is described as 40 to 50 years old, about 5-feet-10, 160 pounds with a crew cut. He was wearing green hospital scrubs, a cream-colored visor cap and light blue slippers. Anyone seeing someone suspicious should call Campus Security at 956-6911 or 911.
