The University of Hawaii ranks 45th among 178 Division I schools nationally in the U.S. Sports Academy Directors' Cup final fall standings, the school announced today.

UH is the highest-ranked Western Athletic Conference member in the final standings, which measure performance in eight fall sports. Last year UH was 62nd.

UH earned points in football, women's soccer and women's volleyball, all of which won WAC championships.

California led the Cup standings followed by Southern California, Stanford, Oregon and Penn State.
