Fort Weaver road work continues this week

Construction of roadside drainage systems will force single-lane closures in both directions along Fort Weaver Road from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. through Friday, the State Department of Transportation announced.The area affected is between Laulaunui Street and Old Fort Weaver Road. The right shoulder lanes in both directions will be also be closed in that area 24 hours a day behind concrete barriers to isolate work from traffic.
