Advertiser Staff

The Actors Group will hold auditions for "Shadowlands," a drama by William Nicholson, at noon Feb. 16 and 17 at the Yellow Brick Studio, 625 Keawe St.

The show, to be directed by Melinda Maltby, was a West End and Broadway hit. It is the love story of C.S. Lewis, called Jack, the Oxford don and author of "The Chronicles of Narnia" and "The Screwtape Letters," and Joy Gresham, an American poet.

Ten roles are available for seven men and two women, plus one boy. The Lewis role should an actor in his 50s, Gresham part a woman in her late 30s.

Auditions will be done by reading selections from the script; scripts are available at the Yellow Brick Studio but also from the Hawaii State Library system.

Rehearsals begin Feb. 25; the production dates are from April 18 through May 11.
