Preps: Trapasso keynote speaker at Mid-Pacific gala

University of Hawaii baseball coach Mike Trapasso will be the keynote speaker in the fourth annual Mid-Pacific Institute Athletic Hall of Fame Gala.The event is Feb. 8 at the Pacific Beach Hotel. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. with silent auction and cocktails, dinner begins at 6:45 with program to follow at 7:45.
The gala also will include a silent auction, seated dinner, video and the induction of Donny Ma'a (1984) and the five Serikaku brothers — Frank '57, George '53, Richard '60, Thomas '60 & Albert '64 — to the MPI Hall of Fame.
