First of February Hawaii blood drives is Saturday

The Blood Bank of Hawaii has announced several blood drives to be held around O'ahu in February.

Donating blood takes about an hour and can help save three lives per donation.

To donate you must be in good health, be 18 years of age or older, weigh 110 pounds or more and provide a valid photo ID. To make an appointment or get more information, call the Blood Bank of Hawaii at 845-9966 or visit www.bbh.org.

Dates and times released yesterday are subject to change.

Saturday, 6:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.: Town Center of Mililani

Saturday, 7:30 a.m. – 1 p.m.: Pearlridge Center

Sunday, 7 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.: Don Quijote - Kailua

Monday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m.: University of Hawai'i at Manoa Campus Center Ballroom

Feb. 9, 7 a.m. – 1 p.m.: Ben Parker Elementary School

Feb. 9, 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.: Foodland - Pupukea
