Free Hawaii Youth Symphony concert tonight

The Hawaii Youth Symphony presents a chamber performance including ensembles comprising students from various schools at 6:30 p.m. tonight at the Tenney Theatre, St. Andrews Cathedral, 229 Queen Emma Square.Twenty-two students, ages 14 to 17 and representing 11 schools, will present works they have been working on with coaches from the Honolulu Symphony.
The recital is free.
Five ensembles will perform. Repertoire for the evening includes works by Joseph Haydn, Ludwig van Beethoven, Serge Prokofieff, Antonin Dvorjk and Franz Danzi.
