ResortQuest to assist Ilikai with certain services

ResortQuest Hawaii will take over specific management services at the Ilikai Hotel but owner Anekona LLC will continue overall management of the Waikiki hotel, officials said yesterday."Anekona LLC is not turning over management of the Ilikai Hotel to any entity," said Anekona Chief Executive Brian Anderson in clarifying an earlier announcement.
"We do have an agreement as of (Monday) with ResortQuest Hawaii to assist with certain services at the Ilikai in two areas: Accounting and Sales & Marketing."
The agreement between the two companies will not affect employees and residents, according to Anekona officials. ResortQuest has been contracted to provide full management services to another Anekona property, the Aloha Beach Hotel on Kaua'i.
