Palolo Chinese Home to hold benefit garage sale

Palolo Chinese Home will have a benefit garage sale 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday at the home, 2459 10th Ave.Among the sale items: kitchen wares, clothes and housewares. All proceeds will benefit the programs of Palolo Chinese Home.
The adult-care home founded by Asian-Americans more than 110 years ago, includes senior daycare and residential facilities in Palolo Valley. It has helped thousands of all ethnic backgrounds, many of whom couldn't afford other facilities.
