Maryknoll remains unbeaten

Soana Fifita scored a game-high 15 points and Maryknoll ran its record to 7-0 by beating Word of Life, 47-36, in an Interscholastic League of Honolulu Division II girls basketball game at La Pietra.

The Spartans engineered a 33-15 halftime lead and held off the Firebrands in the fourth quarter.

Rayane Alvarado scored nine points for Word of Life.
