Advertiser Staff

HONOLULU — In continuance of their weeklong Ola Kino Mai Ka'i (Healthy Body, Mind, & Spirit) activities, Saint Francis School will present a Cancer Health Awareness Conference today.

At 8:30 a.m., keynote speaker Lori Kaneshige, manager of education services at Kuakini Medical Center, is scheduled to share her story about her close brush with breast cancer.

After the keynote presentation, Saint Francis students will hold a Prayer & Remembrance ceremony, placing 500 pink Breast Cancer Awareness ribbons on the hillside of the school in the shape of one big ribbon, to honor every woman of the Saint Francis community who has been a victim of breast cancer over the last year.
