Injured woman found lying on Vineyard near Palama St.

A woman who appeared to be in her late teens or early 20s was taken to The Queen's Medical Center in critical condition early this morning after she was found lying in the middle of Vineyard Boulevard just 'ewa of Palama Street.Callers told authorities the woman appeared to have been hit by a vehicle.
Police were checking to see if she fell from a freeway overpass. They blocked traffic through the area to investigate.
Crews were sent out on the call shortly after 3:45 a.m.
