Hawai'i Sens. Russell Kokubun and Jill Tokuda were on The Hot Seat today, replacing Senate President Colleen Hanabusa, who late this morning had a personal emergency she had to take care of.Kokubun has been leading Hawai'i's sustainability efforts and is also chairman of the Senate's Commerce, Consumer Protection and Affordable Housing Committee. Tokuda is chairwoman of the newly created Committee on Agriculture and Hawaiian Affairs.
