Makiki man indicted in sex assault of girl

A 28-year-old Makiki man was charged today in a nine-count indictment with sexually assaulting a 13-year-old girl.A $50,000 arrest warrant was issued for Darin Hideki Yoshinaka, charged with two counts of first-degree sex assault and six counts of third-degree sex assault.
The alleged assaults occurred on Nov. 3, 2007, and Jan. 2, 2008.
Yoshinaka was charged Jan. 12 for the same offenses and released on $50,000 bail. Today's indictment supercedes the need for a preliminary hearing.
