Hawaii Superferry cancels tomorrow's voyages

Advertiser Staff

Hawaii Superferry announced this evening that tomorrow's service between Maui and Oahu has been canceled due to an unexpected delay in the completion of repair work. Repair work is expected to be completed tomorrow.

Inclement weather forced the Alakai to remain dockside from Sunday through Wednesday this week. During that period, Hawaii Superferry performed routine maintenance inspections, during which the need for repair work related to the vesselšs auxiliary rudders was identified. Voyages for today were canceled to conduct repairs.

Passengers holding reservations for Friday are being contacted about the cancelation. Hawaii Superferry will notify passengers Friday concerning the resumption of service. Customers are encouraged to visit www.HawaiiSuperferry.com for the latest travel information.
