Chinese New Year party at Market City on Feb. 9

Market City Shopping Center will be celebrating the Year of the Rat with Chinese New Year festivities from 10 a.m. to noon on Feb. 9.Festivities will include firecrackers and lion dances parading throughout the shopping center to visit each store, and free fortune cookies will be distributed.
The celebration is free and open to the public. It will be held in the lower level parking lot fronting Kaimuki Avenue.
