Oahu forecast is for improving weather by weekend

The National Weather Service is forecasting improving weather conditions by the weekend but continuing intermittent showers and gusting winds, 15 mph to 25 mph, mainly in the windward and mauka areas of O'ahu for today.Yesterday's high of 78 degrees and low of 65 degrees was close to the average norm of 80 and 65 degrees, respectively, for the second-to-last day of January, according to NWS forecaster John Bravender.
The projected high today is 79 with a low of 66.
